Setlist is a mobile app designed to transform live concerts into interactive experiences by letting fans vote on songs in real time. Built during a 24-hour UX Design Sprint hosted by UX Laurier and sponsored by STGC Technologies, this project won the Most Innovative Award. THE CHALLENGE

  • Artists prefer not to see audiences distracted by their phones.
  • The lack of interaction between artists and fans leads to reduced concert satisfaction.

  • Real-Time Voting: Fans can vote for songs they want to hear during the concert, giving them partial control over the setlist.
  • Enhanced Engagement: Turning phone use into a positive interaction instead of a distraction.
  • Concert Mode: A low-power mode that keeps users informed about song updates and upcoming votes without draining the battery.
  • Song Bank: Allows users to add their favorite tracks pre-concert, increasing the chance of hearing them live.
  • Live Metrics: Shows popular songs and fasted poll options, keeping fans engaged throughout.
  • Merch Integration: Seamless in-app merch purchases with pickup options.
